John has held a full motorcycle licence since he was 17. He started on a BSA Bantam, later mov1ng on to a Triumph Speed Twin. After a break of a few years, John returned to motorcycling with
a Royal Enfield Bullet. Later machines included a Norton Atlas, Norton Interpol 2, Norton Commander, Honda CB900F, Honda Pan European ST100 and a Suzuki Bandit 600 S.
He is an experienced CBT /DAS instructor, has been an IAM observer and was one of the first people in Bristol to join the DSA's Register of Post-test Motorcycle Trainers. He also holds the NVQ Advanced Instructors Qualification (level 4) as well as the BTEC Advanced Award for Motorcycle Instructors (level 3), City & Guilds 730/7 Adult & Further Education Teaching Cetificate. |
