Course Information
All courses are of the highest standard and are tailored to suit the individual
rider’s requirements; for confidence building, intermediate or up to advanced level
training - we can design a course to suit you.
Bike to bike radios are normally used throughout the course to give you instant feedback and
to help you improve that much more quickly.
All courses revolve around the Police handbook “Roadcraft”, with a practical
edge. This has been developed over many years by the Police to become the Bible of Advanced
Riding, together with a good knowledge of the highway code Our aim is to enhance your riding
skills and therefore your enjoyment of motorcycling, while making safer, quicker and
smoother progress.

The sort of courses we can offer
One to One Training
Ten hours training focused on the needs of the individual. Time includes pre-road work session
and assessed rides. The time period can be broken down into mutually agreed chunks to prevent
"training overload" and to allow practice time for the client to apply the points raised. The
course is designed for those intending to attempt an IAM, RoSPA or BMF Blue Riband advanced
motorcycle test.
Two to One Training
Ten hours training split between two clients. Time includes pre-road work session and assessed
rides. The time period is split between clients who take turns at 'leading' where direct
tuition is given, and 'following' where they can view and listen to the other client being
instructed. The course is designed for those intending to attempt an IAM, RoSPA or BMF Blue
Riband advanced motorcycle test.
Observation Assessment
One hour observed on-road assessment for clients who are due to take either an IAM, RoSPA or
BMF Blue Riband advanced motorcycle test, and those requiring constructive feedback on their
riding technique.
Top-up Training
Four hours of on-road training. For clients wishing to heighten awareness of their abilities,
re-emphasise previous training, or for those looking for guidance on returning to
motorcycling. It can be provided on either a One to One, or One to Two basis.
Two / Three Day Courses
Eight hours training per day. The course will consist of an initial assessed ride followed by
confirmation of the client's training requirements, on-road training and a final assessed
ride. The course will be designed for the individual based on the client's wishes. bed &
breakfast / evening meals can be provided on the client's behalf (not in course price).
